Welcome to Chesapeake Bay Aquatic & Physical Therapy

Chesapeake Bay Aquatic & Physical Therapy (CBAY) is a privately owned and operated outpatient physical therapy company. We have been proud to serve communities in Maryland for over 16 years.  We serve Bowie, Laurel, Severna Park,  Lutherville-Timonium, Reisterstown and Baltimore.

All 6 of our locations feature state of the art equipment and offer rehabilitation inside warm therapy pools. We offer land and water-based therapies to treat a full range of outpatient physical therapy needs, including orthopedic care, pre and post-op care, arthritis and neurological disorders.

Chesapeake Bay Aquatic & Physical Therapy voted Bowie Blade-News Reader’s Choice 2018 Winner for Physical Therapy!

Direct Access

Did you know? Maryland holds direct access legislation allowing patients to go directly to a licensed physical therapist without a physician’s referral.

While state law allows direct access, some insurers may have additional requirements. To find out if your insurance company requires a referral for PT simply contact their customer service department.

Post Rehabilitation

Our post-rehab program has been designed specifically for patients who are discharged from therapy but may benefit from continuing their exercise routine in a clinical setting. If you’ve been discharged from therapy and would like to continue your exercise routine with the help of our professional team of therapists, ask your PT how you can become a post-rehab program member today.

Boutique Services

Have your visits covered through insurance run out? Are you independent in your home exercise program but still receive benefits from specific physical therapy services you cannot receive at home?

Would you like to receive 1 on 1 personal care from our physical therapist, without other patients being treated simultaneously?

Chesapeake Bay Aquatic & Physical Therapy, has been a great blessing to me. My initial visit I could hardly walk due to severe lower back and hip pain, from an injury.
