OUR PHYSICAL THERAPISTS

 

Chirag A. Kadakia, PT

Chirag  is a skilled physical therapist who strives to make patients pain free and feel better. Chirag graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy (BPTh) from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, in India in 2011. He is a Certified Mulligan Practitioner (CMP) and is a Certified McKenzie therapist (Cert MDT) and is working on to become a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT). His continued education has helped him understand the human body in a detailed and precise way.

Chirag’s interest in physical therapy started when he tried to look for options and ways to get people out of pain without using drugs or medications. After talking with different physical therapists in his home country, he realized that there were ways and procedures that may help individuals with debilitating conditions to feel better and get back to a healthy regular life. Chirag has experience in various specialties – Musculoskeletal/ Orthopedic, Neurological, Cardiovascular, Pulmonary and balance disorder, of which he specializes in Musculoskeletal/Orthopedic and Neurological conditions He has 6 years of experience working in outpatient physical therapy offices and inpatient physical therapy facility in India.

Chirag believes that understanding what the patient wants from therapy is critical to a patient’s recovery. He highlights the importance of using evidence based approach in treating patients and trying to make them feel better on the first day of treatment.

 


Danielle Parrott , PTA

Danielle graduated from CSM/CACHE Physical Therapist Assistant Program in May 2014. She became interested in Physical Therapy after having taken some classes at her college and learning about the human body and the healing process and wanting to be a part of this rehab process. Also, after having gone through Physical Therapy at a young age for her Hip Dysplasia. Danielle has a special interest in the outpatient orthopedic setting and enjoys working with a wide variety of patients. In her free time she enjoys hiking and spending time with her loved ones.

 


 

Katie Grove, PTA

Katie graduated from AACC/CACHE Physical Therapist Assistant Program in May 2015. She became interested in physical therapy after watching her brother go through therapy for an elbow fracture and after taking anatomy classes in college. She wanted to get involved with a profession that helps people and is fun! Katie enjoys working with all age groups and has a special interest in orthopedics and aquatic therapy. In her free time she enjoys swimming, boating, and going to the beach.

 


Krystal Muller, DPT

Krystal graduated with a B.A. in Psychobiology from Arcadia University and went on to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Delaware in 2008.  She has experience in outpatient, skilled nursing facility (SNF), and home health care settings. Krystal enjoys treating total knee and hip replacement as well as chronic pain. In her personal time, Krystal enjoys spending time with her husband, twin daughters and dog.

 


Mark Boyland. PT

Mark graduated from D’Youville College in 2017 with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy.  He received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Studies from D’Youville College in 2014.  Mark believes in educating his patients to foster a sense of independence and to help them control their condition, and not the other way around.  Mark has a variety of athletic interests including tennis, cross country running, and various martial arts.  Having studied in Buffalo Mark roots for the Buffalo Sabres and the Bills, while cheering on the Ravens and Capitals as well. 


Sarah Remaneses, PT

Sarah graduated from the University of the City of Manila in the Philippines with Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2004. Currently she is doing her transitional to Doctor of Physical Therapy with the University of Montana. Sarah has experience in the treatment of myriad orthopedic and sports injuries including low back pain and shoulder dysfunction. She is also adept in treating joint replacements and other post surgical conditions from pediatric to geriatric population. Sarah looks forward to furthering her skills in manual therapy and hand rehabilitation. During her free time, she spends quality time with family and participates in their church activities.

 


Sharyn Frederick, PTA

Sharyn graduated from Baltimore City Community College AACC/CACHE Physical Therapist Assistant Program in May 2015. She returned to college after over 20 years working in architecture & residential landscape design as a result of acting as primary caretaker for a loved one who passed from cancer at a young age. Physical therapy, particularly aquatic therapy, piqued her interest as a healthcare specialty that teaches patients to truly better care for themselves in the healing, warm waters. Sharyn is most interested in training a wide variety of rehab patients by pursuing continuing ed to incorporate principles of yoga, myofacial release, dry needling, breath work, healthy nutrition & lifestyle choices for graceful aging. Free time is spent enjoying music, gardening, travelling, family & pets.

 


C. Tyler Barry, PTA

Tyler graduated from the C.A.C.H.E.  Physical therapist Assistant program at Anne Arundel Community College in May of 2013, completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Systems management through the University of Baltimore in November of 2017, and completed a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher program in April of 2017 in November of 2016. Tyler Became interested in physical medicine after discovering the healing power of manual therapy and mindful movement practices such as Pilates and Yoga. Tyler seeks to foster a kinesthetic awareness with in each patient to thrive with in his/her/ze’s individual body. In his spare time, Tyler enjoys cooking, kayaking, gaming with friends, traveling, and Yoga.

While at Temple University Ryan had an array of clinical affiliations in both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy. He also worked with Division I athletes while completing a clinical rotation at La Salle University in Philadelphia. Ryan's areas of expertise include orthopedics, manual therapy, post op and sports medicine. He also specializes in vestibular rehabilitation, vertigo and concussion management. He has also taken continuing education in the Mulligan Approach. Ryan has lived in the state of Maryland since 2011. He currently resides in the Mount Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore. Ryan is a Pittsburgh native and a diehard Steelers fan. He is also a huge sports enthusiast. Ryan enjoys running, strength and conditioning, golf and tennis. He is also an avid reader and enjoys to travel in his free time.
