Experienced physical therapist and clinical manager to oversee growing physical therapy company in Maryland
Laurel, MD—Chesapeake Bay Aquatic & Physical Therapy (CBAY), one of Maryland’s largest and most comprehensive physical therapy practices, announced today that Ron Herbst has been promoted to Director of Growth and Development for CBAY’s 5 locations in Maryland. Additionally, Ron will also act as Area Manager company wide. CBAY specializes in aquatic and land-based physical therapy and rehabilitation.
Ron graduated in 1996 from the University of Maryland at Baltimore with a Masters in Physical Therapy after studying Kinesiology at the University of MD, College Park. In 2000 he earned his Manual Therapy Certification from the University of St. Augustine.
Ron has over 20 years’ experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. Specializing in sports medicine & manual therapy for the spine, Ron has treated members of the Orioles, the LPGA and Champions golf tours, the Columbus Pride soccer team, Towson State baseball and lacrosse teams, and many other local high school & college athletes. With a special passion for golf, Ron has developed and run golf enhancement programs and given multiple lectures on the topic of golf fitness. You may have heard Ron as the fitness expert on ESPN radio “The Double Bogey Blues”, WBAL 1090 or WNST 1570. He has also made guest appearances on WBAL & FOX-45 local news. Ron comes to CBAY direct from Johns Hopkins main campus where he acted as director for all outpatient services. Ron will be treating patients in selected CBAY clinics as well as training all therapists with the hands-on approach he has developed over his career.
