Bud Ward, PT, MPT
Bud Ward graduated from Salisbury University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology after returning from Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He earned his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. For over 20 years, he has served as a physical therapist and director in outpatient therapy clinics in corporate practice, private practice, and The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
As a lifelong athlete, Bud continues to stay active with running and weight training. He has coached youth soccer and served as the team physical therapist for the Chesapeake Charge in the Women’s Premier Soccer League.
Bud is also a writer who has authored continuing education courses for physical and occupational therapists. He often covers topics about health, wellness, ergonomics, personal development, and practice management. His writing has appeared online and in the national magazine for the private practice section of the American Physical Therapy Association.
